It's a sovereign city-state in Southeast Asia, It's known also as the lion city or the little red dot .
It's one degree -137km- north from the equator ,, not so far from your heart if you wanna to go there .
Singapore is a global commercial center , a financial and transportation hub , It has many standings like the most "technology-ready" nation (WEF), top International-meetings city (UIA), city with "best investment potential" (BERI), second-most competitive country, third-largest foreign exchange market, third-largest financial center, third-largest oil refining and trading center, and the second-busiest container port. The country has also been identified as a tax haven.
It's ranked 11th internationally and first in Asia on the UN Human Development Index. It is ranked highly in education, healthcare, life expectancy, quality of life, personal safety, and housing.
It's a parliamentary republic where it's the president role the country with the presidential elections .
Climate in Singapore :
It has a tropical rainforest climate with no specific seasons , with high humidity and heavy rain most of the year .
Transportation in Singapore :
It's a small island with high population so that cars are restricted in a way and car owners have to pay much duties for certificates for their cars , cars there are too expensive to ordinary citizens . Taxi companies are common in Singapore too . There is a road system covering3,356 kilometres (2,085 mi)
Religion :
The most common religion in Singapore is Buddhism, about 33% of citizens there are following Buddhism , then in the second stage : Christianity , then Islam, Taoism and Hindusm . Religions in Singapore are making a good mixture with no grudge and problems about it .
Langauge :
It has four official languages : English , Malay , Mandarian , Chineese and Tamil . English is the most important and official language in Singapore , It's the official language at schools , business and governmental foundations
Health :
It has a new efficient health system which covers most of the citizens of it
Culture :
However Singapore is a small country , but it has many cultures , religions and languages , plus the cutures of tourists coming all the year around to it
